Day Workshop

Organised by The Severn and Thames Psychotherapy Network

An experiential introduction to the functioning of Balint Groups: Exploring the process
Saturday 21st April 2018
10am - 4pm
£55.00 (including lunch)

This unique workshop will be facilitated by Stephen Morris and other members of the STPN training in psychoanalytic supervision. The training has been running for many years and incorporates a Balint Group as a key component of its training program. The program will draw from this experience in the structuring of the day and aims to introduce participants, in the roles of group conductor, presenter, or group member, to the unique dynamics that a Balint Group offers the supervision process generally, with the view to encouraging some participants to set up their own groups in the future. The workshop will explore the complexities underlying the subjective experience of participants in order to further the theoretical understanding of the Balint Group process.

Open to registered counsellors and psychotherapists of all persuasions.

Because of the structured nature of this event places will be limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Venue: Central Bristol, with free parking available.
